The Vango Castlewood 800xl is an inflatable Airbeam tent, part of the Sentinel Active collection designed for entry-level campers, with a lightweight 70-Denier polyester fabric and a Hydrostatic Head of 3000mm. Perfect for campers wanting a versatile design with offset bedrooms, which offer sleeping space for up to eight people. Further to this the Sentinel collection is produced in the NEW Mineral Green colour, and has great Vango technology embedded, such as the ColourLok Eco design, which uses 60% less water in the dying process of manufacturing, which in turn reduces the industrial output on the environment during the manufacturing process.
Featuring a fully sewn-in groundsheet throughout the living space and offers great comfort and protection from the elements – with drop-down doors for prams and wheelchairs for easier access. Further to this, the it has offset bedrooms, which are extremely versatile, with space to sleep four people on either side, and the inners are removable to create further living space if fewer people are camping. The bedrooms are Nightfall Technology bedrooms, designed to reduce the early morning light, for a better, more comfortable night’s sleep.

Polyester is the most popular fabric for tent manufacturing, as it is durable, reliable and lighter in weight. Polyester does not breathe though, which creates more condensation. Polycotton – a blend of polyester and cotton, primarily cotton (usually around 65% cotton / 35% polyester split). Polycotton is a more natural fabric for camping, as it is breathable, far more durable material, reducing the effects of condensation. Offers greater versatility in hot and cold climates.
